Lifelong boating hobby (Completed Coast Guard boating safety class)
12 years owner of Shamaness, a 36' Taiwanese ketch (10,000 sea miles)
20 years experience in powerboats fishing Pacific Ocean waters of San Francisco, Tomales Bay, Bodega Bay 5 years experience racing small sailboats with Berkeley Yacht Club.
   
Dennis has completed the following voyages with the Shamaness:  
Sailed the California coast from Fort Bragg to the Mexican border (6 times), visited  all of the Channel Islands, veteran of two Latitude 38, Baja HaHa cruises to Cabo San Lucas, 10 month cruise down the Mexican mainland to Costa Rica with stops in Guatemala and Nicaragua, then sailed back to San Francisco, CA. One Baja Bash ! Crossed the Sea of Cortez many times and cruised Baja for the last 10 years with home ports of San Carlos, LaPaz, and Puerto Vallarta.

Special Notes:
Dennis has re-fitted, re-powered and re-wired the Shamaness, and has intimate knowlege of sailing, mechanical, and electrical skills needed to keep a cruising boat underway at sea. Dennis is a HAM radio operator (Call Sign: KF6JKM) and operates aboard the Shamaness. Dennis is an excellent teacher of sailing, navigation, diesel engines or anything about boats!
